There Once was a Man Who Looked, But couldn’t see.

There once was a man who looked but couldn’t see. He was smart for he studied constantly.
But for all his knowledge, he couldn’t see.
He couldn’t see what life was. In all his studying he lost sight of what’s important. Sure he knew math, and science, stars, and even religions.
But what he found in studying he lost in
Life.

He lost what life was and what it could be,
For He was the man that looked but couldn’t see

Community Story #1

Yesterday in class we did an exercise that is a gaining traction in the education community. They found it to be a proven method in the Science of Reading that if the class participated in a collaborative story, they tend to retain more knowledge. So I want to try it! I want us to create a story. I’ll start it then we will add one line at a time from the comments. Try to keep it short, maybe one or two sentences.

The Giant Who Loved All

Just outside a small village, there live a lonely Giant. He was shunned for being different, but felt at peace living alone near the Forever Forrest.

Okay comment please so we can make this awesome story together!!!! Y’all have a Blessed Day!!!

Transfer of Knowledge

So my people, I was thinking at the gym during my workout just now. The Transfer of Knowledge, should be a great milestone of existence yea? I mean knowledge, and the retention and the usage of knowledge, is a major component of civilization yea? We pass things down from generation to generation but why? Do we hope it will make life easier down the road for someone? Do we do it just because its what we do? I mean it is automatic yea? You may learn something from someone who does not really intend for someone to learn what he is doing. So just the simple act of being human gives us some innate right to learn whatever we choose to learn.

With technology the way it is today, we can teach anyone around the world whatever we wish. I love this idea. I have a fascination of languages. Duolingo is wonderful for dabbing into languages from beginners to experts. I highly recommend it if you ever just wanna learn a bit hear and there. No commitment, no money if you dont want to.

Learning is so much fun when we enjoy it. Ya be good and have a Blessed day.
