Yonder lighthouse

Stranded with no place left to go
You may think of calling this place home.
There is nothing here to sustain life,
Nothing here, but heartache and strife.

Do not put roots down here to stay
Grab all you can, you must get away
The lighthouse yonder will guide you home
Survival depends on just your will to go

Do not live in a place where there is no love
Your way home is guided by things above

There Once was a Man Who Looked, But couldn’t see.

There once was a man who looked but couldn’t see. He was smart for he studied constantly.
But for all his knowledge, he couldn’t see.
He couldn’t see what life was. In all his studying he lost sight of what’s important. Sure he knew math, and science, stars, and even religions.
But what he found in studying he lost in
Life.

He lost what life was and what it could be,
For He was the man that looked but couldn’t see

When the Seas Lose Their Sway

There is not a single thing I wouldn't do,
Not one mountain I couldn't move,
and When the seas lose their sway,
My love, to you, I'll still prove.

When Selene no longer holds the seas at bay,
Because the love of her dear Endymion she lacks,
Then the tide soon loses its way
And forces the seas to lose their sway.

So when the time comes and our lives begin to fade,
My love for you will always be here to stay,
even after the seas lose their sway.

The Angel’s Touch

Though he traveled alone
And shivered to the bone,
Darkness was his respite;
So, from light he did exit,
buying time for to atone

She watched him from afar.
Every alley, street and bar
She saw through his façade
And cornered him in Cape Cod
As he was meeting a porn star

She felt a kind of chemistry.
Like an unsolved mystery,
The attraction was baffling.
Oh, the hormones shes battling,
Her next move makes history

As her arms reach from behind
And his chest they certainly find,
A bright light penetrates inwards
But also violently blasts outwards
Leaving them confused and blind

He felt an energy never gotten
His aura turned as white as cotton
His darkness she had purified
Allowing his heart to opened wide
He was no longer dirty and rotten

Lights flicker when they touch
Their energy surges so much
She collapses with every kiss
Her heart racing, lying in bliss
With legs shaking and such

The moral of the story is this:
Even if you are rotten as piss,
An angel’s touch is a game changer
Removing the darkness and danger
Creating lots of ecstasy and bliss

Man’s Best Friend(ish)

The wolf: his best friend
Loyalty through the end
Every where he went
The wolf was obedient
With his life he’d defend

That all changed one day
When she came their way
He and she became a thing
Karaoke they then would sing
And one night she did stay

The next morning he called
But the wolf had stalled
On her he had imprinted
His loyalty to him stinted
The man was now appalled

His best friend betrayed him
But it wasn’t all that grim
To him the wolf wasn’t mean
But he now protected the queen
Except when shes at the gym

The Unintended Mother

Pregnant before she was sixteen
Because of with who she mixed in
unenthusiastically washing dishes
All those failed dreams and wishes
Time came and the baby was seen

Suddenly all those dreams faded
She no longer felt lost and jaded
The tiny little angel reminded her
That even mistakes that occur
Can give us a life greatly upgraded

As daughter grew up and moved out
She became the best without doubt
A master of her incredible field
As Her PhD was eagerly fulfilled
But she had secret motives about

Rewinding to when the girl was ten
She found her mother’s dream bin
For all the failed dreams were saved
And the young girl’s heart caved
But after emotional tears, a slight grin

An ingenious plan had been hatched
To absorb all like a lawn dethatched
She would spend years planning
While her knowledge was spanning
And from her mother so dethatched

The plan was quite simple and neat
All those failed dreams she’d meet
But with her mother by her side
Together, experience the full ride
The “mistake” had finally turned sweet
