On the long way home,
I must make sure I survive,
The long way, I’ll live.

My idle mind
My idle mind creates my life.
It takes the nothing given to me,
Turns my pen into the knife
That whittles the page and ends my strife.
The words contort on the paper splendidly,
They form the message I see in my head.
Please read them lest I find them dead.
Read them and set them free.
The man who worked too fast.
So I work with a man. He is a good man, a moral man, a fast man. This man is a “work your butt off” kinda man. He never slows down, not even to eat. he is a vital asset to a company that only considers office jobs vital assets, but his job is more important. Even beyond this mans ability to make sure this plant stays running, he is indirectly a teacher, giving everyone of us here a lesson we should all abide by, and be weary of……
When we do everything as quickly as this man, our lives are put in danger. Physically, we all know working too fast invites injury to our dining room table and then our bed. There is another danger though. A danger just as bad as physical; and that danger is loss.
We lose our humanity bit by bit. We miss what life is showing us, and it is not speed. Once you stop and see the world at 25 mph, that 70 mph lifestyle fades. You will learn more about yourself and the world and that’s what’s important
Not being the first to the finish line, but making sure we ALL make it to the finish line.
So don’t be a “get it done quickly”!kinda man livin’ life as fast as you can, Slow it down and enjoy the day, And life life the better way.
Positive Post March 11
There is a skill that I believe everyone needs.
This skill is easy enough to use. You don’t have to build anything, read anything, study anything, or even put any complex thought in it whatsoever.
This skill will open your mind, heart , and soul to a new way of dealing with and tackling problems. This skill makes you healthier indirectly through positive vibes. This skill can put you in a meditative state close to instantly and will last as long as you have the time. That skill is…
Stopping to smell the “roses”.
Just slowing down, closing your eyes and thinking of absolutely nothing but the smell can do wonders. I say roses because what you are smelling may not be roses. It may be mint, cinnamon, or even Rosemary. Just replace roses with whatever you have.
There is a problem with society. We are away from nature. We forced ourselves away. We came from nature and will return there one day. We have developed NDD, Nature Deficit Disorder, and it shows in our daily lives.
Please, go outside and use them noses. Wonders are shown when you stop to smell the roses.
Y’all have a blessed day and be well.
There Once was a Man Who Looked, But couldn’t see.
There once was a man who looked but couldn’t see. He was smart for he studied constantly.
But for all his knowledge, he couldn’t see.
He couldn’t see what life was. In all his studying he lost sight of what’s important. Sure he knew math, and science, stars, and even religions.
But what he found in studying he lost in
Life.
He lost what life was and what it could be,
For He was the man that looked but couldn’t see
The man with sand in his eyes.
There once was a man that loved the beach. One day at the beach he got sand in his eyes. Now this sand irritated his eye so much he could not see. Do you see? Even something you cannot see can cause you so much pain.
A Man with a Pebble in His Shoe.
There once was a man with a pebble in his shoe,
Everyone told him not to worry about it.
It was just a small pebble they’d say,
And to leave it alone because taking it out would slow him down.
So he left it in at their behest.
After a week, the man could no longer work because the pebble made his foot swell and he could no longer wear his shoe. Because he could not wear his shoe, he could not work. Because he could not work, he could not afford the things he needed.
His friend, seeing how far he had fallen,
Offered him some advice. “Please take the pebble out of your shoe, dear friend, it has turned into a Boulder.” See no one but himself and his dear friend could see the pebble was actually a Boulder. Everyone else saw only a pebble.
He took the pebble out of his shoe because he knew his friend cared for him and he trusted him.
He got better and went back to work.
Now when someone else at work gets a pebble in their shoe and is told to not worry about it, the man tells them to learn from his mistake and fix it, because when others see pebbles, it might be boulders.
Law of Attraction
If you radiate good vibes
The universe transcribes
And reciprocates back
Without one bit of slack
Hitting you from all sides
Body and Soul
Don’t fear the one who can harm your body; fear the one who can hurt your soul.
Have a blessed Sunday y’all!
